2. Eligibility
To use Sillara.lk, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Represent a business entity or commercial activity
- Provide accurate and truthful information
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity under your account
- Ensuring your business information is accurate and up to date
You must not:
- Impersonate another business or individual
- Create multiple accounts to misuse the platform
- Use the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes
4. Platform Usage
Buyers may:
- Post genuine business requirements
- Communicate directly with suppliers
Suppliers may:
- List their business information
- Respond to buyer requests
- Contact buyers directly
All negotiations, pricing, delivery, and payments occur outside the platform.
5. No Transactions or Payments
Sillara.lk:
- Does not handle payments
- Does not guarantee deals
- Does not mediate disputes
- Does not charge transaction fees
Any agreement made between users is entirely their responsibility.
6. Verification and Listings
- Verification badges, featured listings, or memberships (if offered) indicate platform review only.
- Verification does not guarantee business performance, reliability, or legitimacy.
- We reserve the right to approve, reject, modify, or remove listings at our discretion.
7. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or spam content
- Use the platform for personal, non-business purposes
- Scrape, copy, or misuse platform data
- Harass or abuse other users
- Use automated tools or bots without permission
Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
8. Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Business profiles
- Requests posted
- Messages exchanged
- Any information shared with other users
Sillara.lk is not responsible for user-generated content.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, logos, and design belong to Sillara.lk unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse platform materials without written permission.
10. Disclaimer
Sillara.lk is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee:
- That suppliers or buyers will respond
- That connections will result in successful deals
- Accuracy or reliability of user information
Use the platform at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sillara.lk shall not be liable for:
- Business losses
- Payment disputes
- Contract breaches between users
- Indirect or consequential damages
Our role is limited to providing access to the platform.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access:
- For violations of these Terms
- For misuse of the platform
- At our discretion to protect platform integrity
Users may stop using the platform at any time.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use indicates acceptance.
